A quick, honest note — from the whole team (yep, that's me, one person 👋)

You in Town is built and run by a single developer. Lately the email sign-up has been hit by wave after wave of automated bot accounts, and clearing them out by hand eats the time I'd far rather spend making the app better for you.

So for now, new accounts are created with Apple or Google only — it shuts the bots out, and it's just two taps for you.

Email sign-up will come back the moment I have the resources to protect it properly. Right now, leaving it open is a genuine security risk for everyone here — and your safety comes first.

Thank you for understanding, and for being part of this. — Fernando

What's new

You in town

A local who knows the secret spots nobody writes about, the grocery market worth waking up early for, the street that looks like nothing but means everything — and the tourist traps to walk straight past.

As a traveller you rarely have time to waste. Digging through 24 blogs and contradictory Google results to piece together a place is exhausting — and you still might get it wrong.

The best version of any trip is having someone you know there. Someone who makes it easy, personal, and real.

That's what You In Town is. Not a tour. Not an experience package. Just a local who genuinely loves where they're from — and wants to show you why.
